Emergency Preparedness,
Emergency survival backpack

Emergencies can arise in just a matter of seconds. Protecting your family is all about being prepared.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency states that everyone needs to be prepared to survive at least 3 days without government assistance. Our emergency backpack is designed to help you do just that.

You should included:
  • All-weather poncho
  • Thermal blanket
  • Change of clothes
  • Hygiene kit
  • Medications~keep updated
  • Signaling mirror
  • First aid kit
  • Writing pad & pen
  • Signaling whistle
  • Directional compass
  • Magnifying glass
  • Leather/Cloth gloves
  • Lightweight tarp
  • Hank of rope
  • Respirator mask N 95
  • Flashlight with a red emergency flashing light
  • Multifunction tool
  • Waterproof document/cash bag (coins for machines)
  • 3-day supply food/water for one person in separate pouch (5-yr shelf life)
Backpack should be water resistant and have an ergonomic design, cushioned shoulder straps, expandable side seams and enough pockets to store everything you'll need. This is very basic and additional items should be included to fit the season. Batteries in this kit should be checked every 6 months when you change anything for the season.
