“Teachings of Jesus” by Elder Dallin H. Oaks is the basis for our lesson this month. (October 2011 General Conference).
Elder Oaks asks us to ponder Jesus’ question, “What Think Ye of Christ?” Below are several questions for your consideration: (Don’t get overwhelmed! Pick one or two and just let them guide your thoughts.)
1. How is Jesus the light of the world? How is He the life of the world?
2. What does the Savior mean when He says, “No man cometh unto the Father but by Me?”
3. In what ways has your life been blessed because the power of the priesthood has been restored?
4. What does it mean to you/ how does it make you feel, that you have been given the Holy Ghost? What times can you recall when the Holy Spirit has guided your life?
5. How is Jesus the Bread of Life, the source of eternal nourishment?
What did Jesus mean when He said, “If any man eat of this bread he shall live forever?
