Dear Sisters,
As we prepare to discuss Elder Jeffrey R. Holland’s October Conference talk, “We Are All Enlisted,” you may find yourself recalling your own missionary experiences as member missionaries, as full-time missionaries, or both, or as converts, or you may be wondering how you can share the gospel effectively. Bring those thoughts with you to class! J
Below are three ideas to also ponder:
1. The standards to be missionaries are to same standards for being effective teachers and examples in our families and among our friends.
How can being morally clean affect our influence in our families?
2. What examples can you think of from the Book of Mormon of people who repented of their sins and became great members? Great missionaries?
3. What example can you find in the scriptures of the power of prayer on behalf of others?
As always, don’t forget to bring a copy of this talk with you to class on Sunday!
