Sisters,
Are you participating in our Relief Society Reading Challenge? This time you set the standard by choosing your own reading goal. But a goal isn't really a goal until you write it down, so take a notecard from the binder on Sunday and write your scripture reading goal on it. Put your name on the envelope and put it back in the binder, or drop it into our jar on the Relief Society table.
We will hand the card back to you at the end of the year so you can do your own assessment of how well you did.
We hope that seeing the jar each week will be a continual reminder, and we will be giving you some periodic reminders as well.
We can become an even stronger group of women as we read the scriptures together. Please participate with us and get your notecard into the jar.
"Goal setting is absolutely necessary for happy living. But a goal is only part of the desired procedure. People need to make commitments with themselves by writing down their goal and keeping a record of the fulfillment of their achievements."
Bishop John H. Vanderberg
General Conference, Oct 1966
