Our next mid-week Relief Society meeting will be held Tuesday, February 21st at 7 pm. We will be meeting at Sister Bettridge’s home to learn about some of the various aspects of family history.
Do you need help with Family Search? Are you brand new to the site or just a beginner? Come, bring your laptop if you have one and some information to get your started and we will have personnel here to help you.
Are you an indexer? Do you even know what that is? Do you know we have all been requested by our stake president to do indexing? It only takes a minute to learn and we can all do it. If your genealogy has been complete, this is definitely the program for you, but even those of us who have much genealogy to explore, we can still give a few minutes a month to the indexing program. Someone, somewhere, did indexing which probably aided you in doing your family history. It’s time to repay the favor.
What about blogging? Do you know how easy it is to blog? That you can make it private if you want? That it’s a terrific way to share your thoughts, photos, and the happenings of your family? It’s a great way to chronicle your family history. We will have someone there to help you set up your very own blog, or improve the one you have.
If you have a laptop, please bring it. But we will have some available if you don’t. We will have refreshments, but sorry – no nursery. The activity will be from 7 to 8:30. Stop by and find out what you’ve been missing.
